Hey, church family!

What a special Sunday we had yesterday for Shannon’s ordination service!  It all began with excellent attendance and tangible worship!  What a wonderful time of both His and your presence!

But arguably the most special part was the ministry from Shannon and towards Shannon.  I mean, she knocked it out of the ballpark with her message entitled “My Steps of Faith” – which was a combination of her testimony with many different “mini sermons” about letting the Holy Spirit be Lord of our lives and the power of being Spirit led.

Regarding her message, the video will be posted on our Facebook page and our YouTube channel Tuesday @ 7 PM.  The audio will also posted on our website and app.  And then we wrapped it all up by praying over her, ordaining her into the ministry, and this too was a special time that ended with an emotional moment between Shannon and Levi.

So all in all, it was a super special day at HPC!  Congratulations, Shannon!

Before we get our list of events this week, I wanted to remind everyone that the "packing party" for the boxes for Operation Christmas Child is this coming Saturday at the church @ 11 AM.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Also, just a reminder that the deadline to bring back your packed boxes back is this coming Sunday!  So don't forget to "getter done" this week and bring them with you on either Saturday or Sunday.

Here’s what is going on this week:

1.   The Pastor’s Study live video will be held on Wednesday this week @ 5:30, and we will continue our study of Ephesians chapter one.  Join me on our Facebook page tomorrow night, and if you haven’t joined the FB group or if you need help finding it, lemme know and I can help.

2.   Our Wednesday Evening Prayer / Bible Study group meets on Wednesday nights @ 7 PM, so come join us in the House of Expectation for these wonderful times of fellowship, Bible study, and prayer!

3. Healing School meets on Thursday mornings @ 10:30 AM in the House of Expectation.  This week, we will continue our new study of the healings in the Book of Acts entitled “Healing Acts.”  Come join us!

One more thing that I wanted to put on your radar – Saturday, November 14th, is our Church Workday that we had to reschedule from October.  So please make plans to attend this from 9 AM – 1 PM.  These are always great times of fellowship together as a body and there is a knitting together that takes place when we come together and labor as one.

And finally, just as a heads up, I plan for us to pick back up on the 23rd Psalm by covering the first thing that happens when we accept the invitation to come into the LORD’s house, to the table He has prepared for us – He anoints our head with oil!

Get ready to learn about what this anointing is and who the oil represents!  It’s gonna be awesome!

See y’all Sunday!

Victoriously,
Pastor Trey Dickerson
